I'm Anjanette Tan, MD — a board-certified endocrinologist in Fort Worth. I make evidence-based videos about thyroid, hormones, bone health, and metabolism. No hype. No fear. Nothing to sell you.

Fear travels faster than evidence, so the loudest answer usually wins. That is how people end up afraid of the wrong thing — skipping a medication that would have helped, chasing a supplement that never could. Quiet Health is the other thing. Careful, cited, and quiet on purpose.
Every clinical claim traces back to peer-reviewed research. If the evidence is thin, I say so.
You are allowed to have tried things that did not work. That is most of medicine.
I can tell you what the research says and what question to ask. The decision belongs to you and your own doctor.
Thyroid — Hashimoto's, nodules, and what your labs actually mean
Diabetes and metabolism — including GLP-1 medications
Menopause and hormones
Cholesterol and cardiovascular risk
The tests worth asking for, and the ones that are not

I am a board-certified endocrinologist and have practiced in Fort Worth for more than twenty years. I see patients, I run a clinical research center, and I have spent my career on the unglamorous end of endocrinology — thyroid, bone, metabolism, the conditions people live with for decades rather than beat in a news cycle.
I have served as an investigator on more than fifty clinical trials, over forty of them as principal investigator, including cardiovascular and kidney outcomes studies. That work is the reason I am careful about evidence. I have watched promising things fail in trials, and I have watched boring things quietly save lives.
I started making this because my patients kept arriving frightened by something they had read, and because correcting it one visit at a time does not scale.

Some questions do not fit in ninety seconds. I am building a series of longer videos that take one topic at a time and go all the way through it — what the condition is, what the evidence says, what the tests mean, and what to ask at your next appointment. Subscribe and you will know when the first one goes up.
No daily emails. No countdowns. Just a short note when a new video is up or when guidance changes in a way that affects how you should be treated.

Quiet Health MD provides general health education only. It is not medical advice and does not create a physician-patient relationship. Always consult your own clinician about your health.
